Rooks v Pendle Forest Green

Rooks v Pendle Forest Green

An unlucky result today Rooks dominated the game for long periods but were unable to capitalise. We need to get back to basics as there was no talking, we were second to every ball and after dominating the match for long periods of time to only have 2 shots at goal needs improving upon. If it were not for mattie in the first half and a great defensive clearance in the second we could have lost by 2 or 3 goals which would have been a great injustice. Joel Moorhouse and a couple of other players gave their all we need the whole team to do the same and get back to the way we were playing at the beginning of the season. You are a great team and we need you back working in the way that we all know you can.

a very unlucky result. You were definitely the better side but unfortunately the ball just wouldn't go in the net. Never mind boys, keep enjoying the game!

That's a pretty fair estimation of the game Paula and you've hit the nail on the head, get back to basics. I'm all for creative play and attacking football but 'fancy feet' football will only get you kicked in the rear end. :?

I've said it before and I stand by it now, play it wide get Curtis and Tom running down the wings and move up as a unit and you're awesome. :D

Still loads of points to play for and very important matches to come, put this one down to whatever and focus on the next game.
