Saints v Blue Star

Saints v Blue Star

Postby Jon on Wed Apr 22, 2009 3:56 pm

Just checked the league table and Saints last match has been given a home win to Blue Star, why? :x

I'm sure there is an explanation but why hasn't it been posted on here?

Sorry Jon. We didn't have enough players for the Blue Star game so unfortunately had to cancel at last minute.

Just to let you also know that I'm taking over the under 14's as from next week with Daniel so there will be no further disruptions with the team and I will be having them working hard and hopefully do even better than this season.

Figured that would probably be the case Paula but surely it could have been posted?

I don't blame anyone for the lack of players and I'd hate to play men short specially top of the league, there's obviously a need to build a couple of squads at Saints i.e. u12's and u14's or it's going to be u13's and u15's. :?
Go to it Paula, got every faith in you.

Hi Jon. Yes I would have posted but didn't want to make the players feel bad.

We are advertising for players in the paper each week but at the last count there where at least 14 under 15's for next season. Obviously we will know for definite after a couple of weeks training. At least they know that Danny and myself will have plenty of encouragment for them and it certainly won't be quiet on the sidelines for them hee hee. Ear muffs at the ready for the parents.

That's understandable Paula, most of the lads are real triers. 8) A squad of about fifteen or sixteen would be good, not too big as to have to leave people out week after week but big enough to have people fight for a starting line up.
