Talk about being complacent, saints turned up thinking they could win this game easy, how wrong you were! Pendle put all their players in front of goal, hoping for a chance on the break, which pleasing to say they didnt create a single threat in the first half. However, frustration set in and they limited saints to long range efforts, unfortunately thats what many of you wanted to do for the rest of the game instead of using each other, i.e; passing, moving! You all know how to do this effectively as you have proved in the past, so why not today?
Being top of the league gives other teams that extra lift when they play against you, but to stay top you must bring your hard work that you do in training to your games against them. Your having a great season keep it going!
