so proud of the boys today in very horrible cold conditions ,it didnt make things any better when we turned up and the game before us hadnt even started so the boys were really cold .the game started as i thought it would with readstone giving 200% i told the boys there pride will be hurt after we beat them 9-0 and said they had to match them but we didnt and found our selves 2 goals down but as they say cream always rises to the top and some of the football played after that in difficult pitch conditions was excellant with captain luke williamson leading by example ,luke has a real football brain on him for someone so young reads the game so well and always puts himself in the correct positions on the pitch .well done to ethan on his hatrick, all 3 goals of his were excellant that the build up to the goals passing and movement was very pleasing ,but what i liked most of all was that everyone battled and showed that they wanted it .well done to james crawford for his man of the match performance this little pit bull is getting better every game and joel moorhouse for a stunning solo goal down the left hand side where he just glided past 4 defenders and slotted in at the near post .
im just so chuffed for them all that they are in the semi finals which will be played in march next year at a neutral ground .

i would also like to thank all the parents and gran parents who give the kids tremendous support week in week out ,i think your all brilliant .
regards AIDY :D :D :D

What a fighting spirit lads coming back from 2 down to win by 7. Well done Ethan a magnificent contribution with your hatrick.

Good luck in the semi's, with a bit of luck we'll get to see it.

Well done to all the team, it's not just the goalscorers that got you back on track to score 7.

Saints v Readstone

Well done lads fanatstic result. I agree totally with the comments from Aidy but would like to mention Jack Moodie. At half time all of the lads were really cold and wet, Joseph was particularly very cold as he had not had the opportunity to run around like the rest of them. I would just like to point out that Jack offered to step in goal for Joseph for the second half to give him chance to warm up a bit. i think this showed great team spirit not to mention great strength of character. Well done Jack!!
Keep going lads.
