A below par performance today lads but even the good teams can have off days and still get a result as you did today. A scrappy opening period where passes were going astray, no marking and half hearted tackles but what can i say about the goal on 4 mins, a great piece of individual skill by ben to beat two players and lob keeper from outside the box absolutly terriffic. Te game continued to be very scrappy but just before the break dec's persistance chasing a through ball payed off when the defender and the keeper got into a muddle and dec calmly poked the ball into the back of the net. Second half a lot more aggrression in this half and it payed off after 5 mins with a great strike from reece whitch went in off the cross bar. Then what went on for the last 20 minutes i can only call absolutly diabolical. Three different knuzden swearing at ours and one of the worst tackles i have seen in over a year and the coaching staff yelling well done great stuff, also the coaching staff making false accusations against myself thats's why i moved to the other side of the pitch that's when we conceeded a sloppy penalty which they converted. This is when we did seem to raise our game and after a goal mouth scramble reece poked the ball home and in the dying minutes i was so pleased for one of the subs who have been so patient on the sidelines to come on and score well done chris and also to well done to callum for being so patient. It just goes to prove even when we do play badly and one or two players are under th weather we still have that winning mentality of a good team. One final comment i am throughely disgusted with players that swear at others on a football field and disgraceful challenges not even to be condoned by the offending teams coaching staff we had a very good 14 year old reff who handled the game very well under the circumstances but if i would have been in the middle at least 4 knuzden players would have walked. Lets end this on a positive note not the best of performances but you ground out a great victory thanks for the support on the sidelines there seems to be more and more each week each week.
