what a performance by the boys today in very bad conditions ,some really entertaining football ,once again i asked them to roll their sleeves up and battle and they did not disapoint .joel moorhouse scored a goal to match ross"s goal of the season the other week ,that was some wing play pace power and skill then a hammer blow of shot into the bottom corner ,ive been working on joel all season to get him playing as a winger because his natural instinct is to stay at left back and not cross over the half wayline, ive told him in my view they isnt a better left footer in this league than him and credit to him his performances have been nothing but outstanding ,well done to joel smith again man of the match ,after he got his second wind he was unplayable out there today .if theirs one slight criticism of todays match it was sometimes we held on to the ball that one touch to many , players started to wander out of positions so we then lost our shape ,against the good teams we will get punished ,

give them all a big hug from me ,they were fantastic .
dont think weve got a game next week so have good holiday .

Great result lads and yes it was blooming aweful. Almost impossible to play good football on a pitch like that but the result tells the story. 10/10 for effort in very trying conditions.
