Padiham Saints J.F.C

After a slow opening start which the saints scraped a 1-0 victory over daneshouse and then a very lack lust performance so us lose 3-1 to barrowford, even though we hit the bar and post 3 times. Then suddenly as i have come to expect from the rooks they started to play some good football culminating in a 5-1 anialation of rishton 5-2 beating to the ravens and revenge was sweet with a thrilling 4-0 over the other daneshouse team, with some great goals from dec , suddz,moz and the rest of the team. Semi finals beckoned against rishton culminating in a 4-3 victory witha great solo goal from moz. Even though they won they seemed to take the foot of the pedal onto the final there was no chance of this happening in this match against Barrowford right from the outset they totally dominated the game culminating in a great headed goal from Dec midway though the first half then more chances followed but we couldn't convert and the only shot Barrowford had was from the last kick of the first half second half saints totally dominated creating chance after chnace but just couldn't get the winner they deserved even though they scored what was a perfectly good goal only to be ruled out by the referee for hand ball (think we should have a whip round for some glasses) as he also hadn't notced a blatent hand ball from Barrowford which should have resulted in a penalty to the saints in the first period only to have it awarded to the opposing team. Extra time saints totally dominated but couldn't get the winner they deserved into penalties and justice was done with Dec, Suddz and Fudge all scoring super penalties and Barrowford having them saved by super keeper Mattie. That's a pretty fair description of the game and the refereeing, he should have gone to specsavers.

Think he felt sorry for the way Saints dominated so he was lenient and his eyeballs were misting up in the rain. Could have been the touchline blonde he had an eye on? No not you Paula.

Shouldn't critisise not even in fun, the refs do a great job.............normally...............let's get one that does next time.
