Back to the rooks we know today, right from the kick-off we were the first to every ball and took the game immediately to the barons creating numerous chances until at last we finally scored from a corner with shirty on the receiving end. We went in 1-0 up at the half time interval.
Second half after starting slowly and the barons having their only two attempts on goal with a good save from crabby we stepped up a gear passing and moving and totally dominating the game a fantastic 1,2 from Smithy and Bleasdale resulted in a calm finish from smithy. More chances followed but the game ended up 2-0 and well deserved too. If we play to our full potential it is going to take a good team to beat us over the next few matches. Continue to play with your hearts like you did today and the double could well be still on. A sfor the man of the match I think you all deserved it.
