Thats not James your talking about is it ah ah he'll kill me for that. No the ref your talking about is Dave Pilkington he's brill get on really well with him and like you say he's good with the players.

That's the guy Paula, a really nice chap as well as a brilliant ref, would I ever suggest that James was an 'Old ref'. He's not bad........as refs go I suppose, have known him to require glasses occassionally but he is very fair I must admit.
In fact I have a picture of him reffing that I'll post with this, it's just on the half time break. He's gonna kill me for this post, might just watch from a distance on Sunday.
