Looks like it will be our last game of the season, Nathan. We have Sporting Athletic this Sunday, who we have a good chance against as well so we should focus on that first before Darwen, who we will hopefully play the week after. However we shouldn't go in overconfident, we need to go into both matches ready to give the kind of performance we gave over the last couple of games in order to come away with a win.

I think we should set ourselves a target of winning these remaining games, because it is certainly within our reach.

Anyways, thanks for registering Nathan, and I'll see you on Saturday! :D

I totally agree with Tom, if you play to the best of your ability you can give any team in the league a run for their money but take it one game at a time. Keeping the play going has been a major problem this year coupled with very sloppy defending at times.
Those who've watched you this year know you can play football and sometimes it's been the small stature of the team that's not got you a result.
Stay together and you will be a force to be reckoned with in the next couple of years. Good luck Sunday.

DARWEN

Postby paula sykes on Fri Feb 15, 2008 7:50 am

Yes I think Darwen looks like it's going to be the last game of the season and play to your potential we can get a result but like Tom said one game at a time. Over the last few weeks the football you have played has been brilliant we have suddenly come together as a team and defensively we have improved 110%. Your positions are finally coming together which like we said before it takes a while for a new team to get it right but we are well on the way. It has been such a pleasure seeing the improvemnet in you all over the months and I hope you stay together for next season as I agree with Jon you can be a force to be reckoned with if you stick together. See you all Saturday. Paulax
